AALI: Celebrating African American Philanthropy in the Triangle!

Fatima Dean & Johneise Fennell
2010 Chair & Vice Chair

Welcome to AALI- the philanthropic leadership initiative for African Americans within the Triangle!

We are proud to say that since our inception in 1999, we have served as a vehicle for change, raising over $1.2 million for thousands of people in our community.

Our dynamic partnership with the United Way of the Greater Triangle is the driving force that propels us into action, uniting our resources, time, and talent to address critical issues facing the African-American community.

As we continue to make strides and open doors of hope and opportunity in our present and future endeavors, we realize that our existence and progress would not be possible were it not for our founders. We salute those dedicated and daring business and community leaders whose goal was to increase community awareness, volunteer involvement and donor support of the United Way.

A Special Thanks to the AALI Founders!
