Formed in 2003, WLC members support United Way of the Greater Triangle’s efforts to build stronger communities for the betterment of women now and for future generations by:

  • Learning about and getting involved in the issues and challenges facing people in our community.
  • Investing in quality programs, supported by United Way of the Greater Triangle, that positively impact the lives of people and our community

Young Teen Girls, ages 11 -15, are experiencing a tremendous urge for acceptance by their peers and distance from supervision. As a part of its mission and goal, WLC is working hard to increase awareness about the issues facing young girls.
