Local Experts Address Regional Health and Human Service Issues in New Report From Triangle United Way

Triangle United Way will also unveil the new publication Triangle Speaks: Improving Health and Human Services in Our Region. In the new publication, regional health and human services experts provide analysis and commentary on key social issues impacting Durham, Orange and Wake counties and recommendations for moving forward.

“With the release of this new report, we continue the conversation started in Counting on the Triangle,” said Triangle United Way President and CEO Craig Chancellor. “This report took the problems outlined in the first report and asked regional experts where philanthropy and public policy can intersect for possible solutions. We also asked them to take a look at the results United Way member agencies are achieving and tell us how we can continue to move the needle on tough issues like lack of healthcare and dropout rates.”
