Would you like to share that joy with the guests of Oak City Cares?
We are seeking people willing to collect and deliver any of the below items to Oak City Cares to help add a bit of holiday cheer to our Good Friday and Easter Sunday meals.
Please see if any of the below items are ones you or you and a group of friends, co-workers, faith or civic group members, might like to collect this Spring:
- Peeps
- Reese’s Eggs
- Chocolate Bunnies
- 1 dozen dyed boiled eggs—our guests really do like and request boiled eggs
- Plastic eggs with jellybeans or other candy inside
- Any individually wrapped candies or Spring-themed baked goods
You can collect as many or as few of the items as you would like.
Simply sign-up for a delivery window, Wednesday, 4.13 4:00-5:00 or Thursday, 4.14 10:30-11:30.
You can pull up curbside and we will come out to receive your items.
If you are tracking hours for community service, you may count the time you spend organizing and delivering. We can provide letters of service for this activity.
