Every other year, United Way opens applications for funding that will help determine which nonprofit organizations we fund over the following two years. To ensure that decisions are made through a community-driven process, we are seeking 300 volunteers to read and grade applications on a provided rubric. Volunteers will be provided the applications to review between March 1 and March 19.

Please join our #RaceTo300!

This 100% virtual volunteering opportunity is a critical part of the change you support through your organization’s annual United Way campaign.

Volunteers will review submitted applications from organizations in the community whose work aligns with United Way’s mission and vision to develop an anti-poverty and anti-racist community. Now more than ever it’s important to have the diverse voice of the community as a part of this work. Volunteers will be assigned specific applications and provided all instructions needed to complete the assignment with ease.
